Design Attic ideas
With hidden ceilings, asymmetrical
perimeter and on top of the houses, the attics are challenging areas, but with
potential. Still, it is not uncommon for people to still use the attic as
that space where everything will stop. Between furniture that is no longer
needed in the room or clothes that are no longer used, chaos begins to be
created and a space in the house is wasted that could be used in multiple ways.
Today, we have come to counter this
trend and share with you some ideas for taking advantage of your attic. Do
you need a guest room? Will the family grow? Don't have a quiet,

1.
Transform it into a room or suite!
The architectural features that
define the attic make it the ideal space to accommodate a room. The
hidden ceilings lend intimacy and a discreet charm to the area, thus inviting
rest and retreat. You can make full use of the surface and, instead of a
simple room, design a suite with a private bathroom and - why not? - a
small living room.

An office away from the hustle and bustle
Do you take work home or work from
home? We are sure that you need an office, if possible in a space with
little noise and some privacy. Better than a conventional office is to
have one in the attic, away from the hustle and bustle of the family and any
distractions. To furnish it, it is like a normal office, although you may
have to adapt the storage areas to the attic configuration. You can
choose, as in this project, for a low, as we have already suggested above, for
shelves and / or custom shelves. If the attic has a window or skylight,
orient the desk to that opening to take advantage of natural light.

A private and intimate family room
Have you thought about using the
attic as a second living room? The thermal and acoustic properties of the
attic are seductive to carry out a project of this nature. Your home may
have a more formal room for, for example, receiving people and another more
stripped down just for family moments. Do not hesitate and use this space
to plan a kind of multimedia room just for music, television, cinema, video
games, among other things.

you can see, natural light flows in abundance and white and yellow come in
between and mitigate the impact of this hue.

Yes, it is true that in the
introduction to this article we mentioned that it was a waste to use the attic
as a “junk deposit”, but putting everything there at random is completely
different from structuring and planning the area for that purpose. If you
have a lot of things and little space - a problem that cuts across many homes
and families - you can perfectly equip your attic with cabinets, shelves and
shelves to “have a place for everything and have everything in place”. So
whenever you need something, you don't have to look around, in the middle of
dust and boxes that have been piling up over the years.
